Laminar Flow Hood - To accomplish a sterile fill of a bag, the entire fixture can be autoclaved and placed within a laminar flow hood. Combined with good aseptic technique, the system will interface with a pre-sterilized bag, introducing a sterile fluid to a sterile container.

Filling Fixture - The fixture is designed to remove and reapply Advanced Scientifics’ cap and is compatible with your choice of fluid metering system. For an aseptic fill, this same fixture can be autoclaved and will easily fit within a laminar flow hood..

Fill/Dispense Cap - Advanced Scientifics has developed a cap system to interface with the filling fixture.  This cap, because of its unique design, will negate the need to touch and possibly contaminate the interior of the bag.  This cap will also be the dispensing port, which lowers the cost of the bag system as well as simplifies the use.

Metering System - The automated filling fixture is compatible with your choice of metering system. Advanced Scientifics recommends the following:
