Shown here is the cap open.

Step 1. The operator places the connector into the cradle of the fixture.

Step 2. The process is initialized by pulling down the lever of the fixture towards operator. The fixture will remove the cap from the connector.

Step 3. The filling nozzle and bell will descend, activating a switch, and dispense the fluid into the bag. This can be accomplished using a mass flow, diaphragm or peristaltic pump programmed for the appropriate volume of fluid.

Step 4. When the fill is complete, the operator will push the lever up, causing the cap to be placed back on the connector in the final permanent position.
